LUNA Rubber Base Clear is a transparent, universal, elastic rubber base gel designed for professional nail alignment and use as a base layer under different nail coating systems. It has a medium self-leveling consistency that helps create a smooth and even nail surface without unnecessary bulk.

This base can be used under gel polish, camouflage bases, color bases, hard gel systems, and for gel tip extensions. It is also suitable for self-leveling on short natural nails when applied with the correct technique.

LUNA Rubber Base has a pH level of 3–4 and provides wear for up to 3–4 weeks when applied correctly. Due to its elasticity, minimal shrinkage may occur during wear. On very thin or damaged nails, the product may cause a temporary heat or burning sensation during curing.

For alignment, the free edge thickness should be approximately 0.5 mm. This helps create proper support and improves durability during wear. For best adhesion, do not remove the sticky layer from the cured base before applying the next coating layer.

Rubber Base is sensitive to UV light and may polymerize faster than classic base gels. Do not work near a window, under direct sunlight, bright artificial lighting, or close to an active UV/LED lamp. Store the product in a dark place. For jar packaging, it is recommended not to remove the protective seal completely, but to make a small opening for taking the product.

Storage Conditions

Store in a dark place away from direct sunlight, daylight, bright artificial lighting, and active UV/LED lamps. Keep the product closed when not in use. For jar packaging, it is recommended to make only a small opening in the protective seal instead of removing it completely to reduce light exposure inside the container.

• Remove the previous coating if needed.
• Lightly prepare the natural nail with a 220-grit file or 100-grit buffer without strong pressure.
• Perform the manicure. If cuticle remover was used, wash hands with soap and dry thoroughly.
• Degrease the nail plate with LUNAmoon Nail Prep and apply dehydrator.
• Apply LUNAmoon Ultrabond if needed and wait 1 minute.
• Apply a thin rubbing layer of LUNA Rubber Base and cure for 60 seconds.
• Do not remove the sticky layer after curing.
• Apply a leveling layer, keeping the free edge thickness around 0.5 mm.
• Cure for 90 seconds in a professional 36–48W UV/LED lamp.
• File and refine the nail shape after leveling.
• Remove the sticky layer if needed, then apply gel polish, color base, camouflage base, or another compatible coating.
• Finish with top coat and cure for 120 seconds.
