LUNA Poly Gel is ideal for nude overlays, reverse French designs, upper form techniques, and complex nail architecture. It is also suitable for no-file techniques when used with upper forms.

Compared with glitter poly gel formulas, this version has a firmer structure and requires careful control of thickness and even placement to help avoid transparent areas or cracks.

For best adhesion and long-lasting wear, LUNA Poly Gel requires a thin underlayer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base.

How to Use — Strengthening Natural Nails:

1. Remove the previous coating.
2. Do not file the final nail shape yet, or leave approximately 2 mm of length that will be refined after leveling.
3. Gently prepare the nail surface with a 220 grit file, without strong pressure, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform the manicure.
5. If cuticle removers were used, wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after the procedure.
6. Degrease the nail plate using LUNAmoon Nail Prep in two steps:
   • First step: wipe the nail surface with a lint-free wipe.
   • Second step: wrap a lint-free wipe around an orange stick and carefully clean the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Primer may be used if needed.
8. Apply a thin rubbing layer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base using a flat gel brush.
9. Work the Rubber Base into the nail plate and carefully cover the sidewalls.
10. Cure the Rubber Base layer for 60 seconds.
11. Remove the sticky layer.
12. Apply LUNA Poly Gel and create the desired leveling.
13. If working close to the cuticle, keep a 0.5–1 mm distance from the cuticle area.
14. Cure in the lamp for 120 seconds.
15. Refine the nail shape after application. This helps create the correct thickness at the free edge to support the nail during wear.
16. If the natural nail is thin and may curl, carefully file out approximately 1 mm of the natural nail from the underside of the free edge. This helps prevent lifting between the natural nail and the harder material.
17. After filing, remove the sticky layer and dust.
18. Apply gel polish if the design requires it and cure for 60 seconds.
19. Finish with top coat and cure for 120 seconds.
20. Do not wipe the top coat after curing to preserve maximum shine.
    

How to Use — Extensions with Poly Gel:

1. Remove the previous coating.
2. Shorten the natural nail to approximately 1 mm and create a round shape.
3. Gently prepare the nail surface with a 220 grit file, without strong pressure, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform the manicure.
5. If cuticle removers were used, wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after the procedure.
6. Degrease the nail plate using LUNAmoon Nail Prep in two steps:
   • First step: wipe the nail surface.
   • Second step: clean the cuticle area and sidewalls using an orange stick wrapped with a lint-free wipe.
7. Apply LUNAmoon Primer.
8. Apply a thin rubbing layer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base using a flat gel brush.
9. Carefully work the product into the nail plate and sidewalls.
10. Cure the Rubber Base layer for 60 seconds.
11. Remove the sticky layer.
12. Select and prepare the upper form with the desired architecture and length.
13. Place LUNA Poly Gel into the upper form.
14. Apply the form to the nail and gently press into place.
15. Cure in the lamp for 120 seconds.
16. Remove the upper form.
17. Refine the nail shape. This helps create the correct thickness at the free edge to support the nail during wear.
18. If the natural nail is thin and may curl, carefully file out approximately 1 mm of the natural nail from the underside of the free edge to help prevent lifting.
19. Remove the sticky layer and dust after filing.
20. If needed, apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base to the areas that were filed.
21. Cure for 30 seconds.
22. Apply gel polish if the design requires it and cure for 60 seconds.
23. Finish with top coat and cure for 120 seconds.
24. Do not wipe the top coat after curing to preserve maximum shine.
