LUNA Opal Base is a professional camouflage base designed to cover, smooth, and visually even out the natural nail plate. Its pigmented formula provides beautiful coverage while maintaining a flexible and elastic structure for comfortable wear.

The base has a medium consistency, fast self-leveling properties, and a thixotropic texture that becomes more fluid when worked with a brush. It does not flood the cuticle area and is comfortable to control during application.

LUNA Opal Base is suitable for natural nail overlays and short to medium nail leveling. For best adhesion and durability, it requires a thin underlayer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base or Fix Base.

With proper application, it provides long-lasting wear for up to 3–4 weeks without lifting. The formula has a neutral odor, 5–6 pH level, and is TPO-free.

Not recommended for leveling long nails without prior strengthening.

Important Application Notes:

• Use only an original 36–48W UV/LED lamp.
• Recommended edge thickness during leveling: 0.5 mm.
• Do not use for leveling long nails without prior strengthening.
• Minimal shrinkage may occur during wear due to the elastic formula.
• Do not remove the sticky layer from the underlayer base before applying Opal Base, as it helps improve adhesion between layers.

• Prepare the nail plate and remove shine with a 220 grit file or 100 grit buffer.
• Clean and degrease the nail thoroughly using Nail Prep.
• Apply a thin rubbing layer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base or Fix Base.
• Cure the base layer for 60 seconds.
• Apply LUNA Opal Base and perform leveling if needed.
• Cure in the lamp for 90–120 seconds.
• Refine the nail shape after leveling if necessary.
• Remove the sticky layer.
• Apply top coat and cure for 120 seconds.
• For best results, do not wipe the top coat after curing to preserve maximum shine.
