LUNA Cat Eye Base is a professional magnetic camouflage base designed for nail coverage, leveling, and creating a beautiful cat eye effect in one product.

The formula contains fine metallic particles that react to a magnet before curing, allowing you to create a luminous reflective line, soft magnetic glow, or deep cat eye effect. The base has optimal color density, so it does not require a dark underlayer.

LUNA Cat Eye Base has a medium consistency, fast self-leveling properties, and a flexible thixotropic texture that becomes more fluid when worked with a brush. It does not flood the cuticle area and is comfortable to control during application.

For best adhesion and long-lasting wear, LUNA Cat Eye Base requires a thin underlayer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base or Fix Base. With proper application, it provides wear for up to 3–4 weeks without lifting.

The formula has a neutral odor, 5–6 pH level, and is TPO-free.

Not recommended for leveling long nails without prior strengthening.

Important Application Notes:

• Use only an original 36–48W UV/LED lamp.
• Recommended edge thickness during leveling: 0.5 mm.
• Do not use for leveling long nails without prior strengthening.
• Minimal shrinkage may occur during wear due to the elastic formula.
• The base can be slightly warmed to make the consistency more fluid.
• Do not remove the sticky layer from the underlayer base before applying Cat Eye Base, as it helps improve adhesion between layers.

• Prepare the nail plate and remove shine with a 220 grit file or 100 grit buffer.
• Clean and degrease the nail thoroughly using LUNAmoon Nail Prep.
• Apply a thin rubbing layer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base or Fix Base.
• Cure the base layer for 60 seconds.
• Apply a thin layer of LUNA Cat Eye Base.
• Add a leveling drop if needed and turn the finger upside down for smooth leveling.
• Use a magnet to create the desired cat eye reflection.
• Cure each nail in the lamp to fix the magnetic effect.
• Refine the nail shape after leveling if necessary.
• Remove the sticky layer.
• Apply top coat and cure for 120 seconds.
• For best results, do not wipe the top coat after curing to preserve maximum shine.
