LUNA Light Acrygel is an innovative liquid acrygel designed for nail strengthening, leveling, and small free-edge extensions. It combines the durability of polygel with the smooth, brush-on application of a base gel.

The formula contains a high percentage of acrylic copolymer, the key component of polygel, together with HEMA, commonly used in base gel systems. This creates a strong, flexible, and comfortable material that can be used for reinforcing natural nails and creating a smooth, even nail architecture.

LUNA Light Acrygel has a medium consistency, medium pigmentation, and covers the free edge beautifully. It is acid-free, TPO-free, and provides good shock absorption during wear.

For best adhesion and long-lasting results, it is recommended to apply a thin underlayer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base before Light Acrygel.

Suitable for strengthening, leveling, overlays, and small nail extensions. Not intended for long nail extensions without proper professional technique.

Curing Time:

• Full polymerization: 120 seconds

How to Use — Strengthening Natural Nails:

1. Remove the previous coating.
2. Do not file the final nail shape yet, or leave approximately 2 mm of length that will be refined after leveling.
3. Gently prepare the surface of the natural nail with a 220 grit file, without strong pressure, or use a 100 grit buffer to lift the nail plate scales.
4. Perform the manicure.
5. If cuticle removers were used, wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after the procedure.
6. Degrease the nail plate using LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Perform two cleaning steps:
   • First step: wipe the nail surface.
   • Second step: wrap a lint-free wipe around an orange stick and carefully clean the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Primer is optional. If the underlayer base has enough acidity, primer is not required.
8. Apply a thin rubbing layer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base using a flat gel brush. Pay special attention to the cuticle area and sidewalls to help prevent lifting.
9. Cure the Rubber Base layer for 60 seconds.
10. Remove the sticky layer.
11. Apply LUNA Light Acrygel and create the desired leveling. When leveling with gel, keep a 0.5–1 mm distance from the cuticle area.
12. Cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
13. Refine the nail shape after leveling. This helps create the correct thickness at the free edge to support the nail during wear.
14. If the natural nail is thin and may curl, carefully file out approximately 1 mm of the natural nail from the underside of the free edge. This helps prevent lifting between the natural nail and the harder material.
15. After filing, remove dust and wipe off the sticky layer.
16. Apply gel polish if desired.
17. Finish with top coat and cure for 120 seconds.
18. Do not wipe the top coat after curing, as this may reduce the shine.
    

How to Use — Classic Nail Extensions:

1. Remove the previous coating.
2. Shorten the natural nail to approximately 1 mm and create a round shape.
3. Gently prepare the surface of the natural nail with a 220 grit file, without strong pressure, or use a 100 grit buffer to lift the nail plate scales.
4. Perform the manicure.
5. If cuticle removers were used, wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after the procedure.
6. Degrease the nail plate using LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Perform two cleaning steps:
   • First step: wipe the nail surface.
   • Second step: wrap a lint-free wipe around an orange stick and carefully clean the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Apply LUNAmoon Primer.
8. Apply a thin rubbing layer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base using a flat gel brush. Work the product carefully into the nail plate, cuticle area, and sidewalls.
9. Cure the Rubber Base layer for 60 seconds.
10. Remove the sticky layer.
11. Place the nail extension form.
12. Build the artificial free edge using clear gel.
13. Cure for 30 seconds.
14. File the free edge and create the desired nail shape.
15. Remove the sticky layer and dust.
16. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base again to the areas that were filed.
17. Cure for 30 seconds.
18. Apply LUNA Light Acrygel and create the nail architecture.
19. Place the nail in the lamp and pinch on the 10–15th second. If the gel has a strong sticky layer or contains glitter, pinch on the 20th second.
20. Continue curing in the lamp until fully polymerized.
21. Full curing time: 120 seconds.
22. Remove the sticky layer before applying gel polish.
23. Apply gel polish if desired.
24. Finish with top coat and cure for 120 seconds.
25. Do not wipe the top coat after curing, as this may reduce the shine.
