LUNA Acid Free Base is a professional acid-free base gel created for thin, sensitive, and over-filed nails. Its elastic medium-viscosity texture allows smooth self-leveling and controlled application, making it suitable for short natural nail alignment, pedicure applications, and as a base layer under camouflage bases or gel polish.

The acid-free formula is designed for clients who may be sensitive to acid-based nail products. It helps reduce heat sensation during curing and provides comfortable application when used correctly with a professional UV/LED lamp.

This base is recommended mainly for short nails. It may shrink when applied in a thick layer, so thin and controlled application is important. Do not use LUNA Acid Free Base together with hard gels. For best adhesion, do not remove the sticky layer from the cured base before applying the next coating layer.

If the natural nail is very thin or soft, it may curl during wear. In this case, after leveling and filing the shape, carefully file out approximately 1 mm of the natural nail from the underside of the free edge. This helps reduce the risk of lifting from the free edge.

• Remove the previous coating if needed.
• Lightly prepare the natural nail with a 220-grit file or 100-grit buffer without strong pressure.
• Perform the manicure. If cuticle remover was used, wash hands with soap and dry thoroughly.
• Degrease the nail plate with LUNAmoon Nail Prep, paying special attention to the cuticle area and sidewalls.
• Apply LUNAmoon Ultrabond if needed and wait 1 minute.
• Apply a thin rubbing layer of LUNA Acid Free Base using a flat gel brush and cure for 60 seconds.
• Do not remove the sticky layer after curing.
• Apply a leveling layer of LUNA Acid Free Base, avoiding excessive thickness, and cure for 90 seconds.
• File the nail shape after leveling.
• Remove the sticky layer if needed, then apply gel polish or camouflage base.
• Finish with top coat and cure for 120 seconds.
